Here are the “BUILD A BEAUTIFUL BACK YARD” Official Rules:
Only one photo can be submitted per person.
PHOTOS MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY THROUGH WKBKRADIo.COM through the UPICKEM website.
To participate AND to vote you must become a registered user through uPickem.
You Must live within a 25 mile radius of keene, new hampshire to be eligible to win.
Photos will be accepted MAY 13TH THROUGH 11:59AM ON MAY 31ST, 2013.
All entries are considered “valid” unless they are deemed “inappropriate” (no nudity, vulgarity, or lewd behavior).
WKBK contests are open to anyone 18 or older who have not won anything on WKBK in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of WKBK, The Monadnock Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WKBK main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
You must be the owner of the photo submitted.
You must be the legal guardian of, or have the consent of, any other person in the photo to post their likeness on our website
THE VOTING ROUND RUNS from MIDNIGHT ON JUNE 3RD through 11:59AM on JUNE 20TH, 2013.
Listeners can vote once per day during the voting round. Voting is limited to one vote per PERSON. If an entrant receives irregular votes from the same user or users, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, other automated means or other source, WKBK reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion.
We are not responsible for any problems with internet service, email, website or computer issues.
The 5 photos with the MOST votes after the voting closes will be put in the drawing for the Grand Prize. . In the event of a tie, WKBK staff will give one final vote.
On FRIDAY, JUNE 21ST, during the 8am hour. DAN MITCHELL will put the names of the top 5 Photos with the most votes into a hat and draw one grand prize winner at random.
ONLY One Grand Prize will be awarded, which will consist A $1,000 CERTIFICATE TO MAPLE HILL NURSERY & GREENHOUSES, LOCATED IN WEST SWANZEY. THIS CERTIFICATE IS NOT REDEEMABLE FOR CASH. CERTIFICATE IS VALUED AT $1,000.
Prize can be picked up at our studios during normal business hours, starting JUNE 24TH.
